- My od on/off light is flashing what could cause this? Also my transmission is shifting very hard into reverse and will hardly move in drive any idea what could cause this?
- i have 93 f350 4wd with a e4od transmission wants to start out in high gear i can shift manully form 1 to 2 to 3 but if you stop or slow down it stay in high gear you have to give it alot of gas to get it to move any ideas

The OD off light is blinking because the computer has transmission related trouble codes, and from the symptoms you describe the problems seem major. It is probably going to need a rebuild, but you can have the PCM scanned to see what the trouble codes are.

You may have lost power to your shift solenoids. On the solenoid body connector there will be two power feeds for the solenoids. Both should have battery voltage on them with the ignition switched on. The colors of these two wires are usually one red, and one white with a red stripe.
