08/01/2004 - Our new website is now ready for customers with more technical, and product information than was available at the Baumann Engineering website. Another improvement you will notice is that pricing can be found listed with the products in the product section.
12/23/2003 - Baumann Electronic Controls (Baumann Engineering) was featured on Hot Rod Magazine TV. The show covered the installation of our Baumannator TCS, and a 4R70W in an early Ford.
10/11/2003 Congratulations to Richard Madsen for setting a new all motor DHRA record at Firebird Raceway, 11.806 @ 114.65 MPH. His back up run was an 11.601. His 7600 pound truck is equipped with our Baumannator TCS and an E4OD transmission.
7/8/2003 - Baumann Engineering has changed its name to Baumann Electronic Controls, LLC. This name change came about as a part of our incorporation, and our desire to focus on more automotive electronic product development in the future. We will continue to offer our high quality valve body recalibration kits, and performance parts for AOD, AODE/4R70W, and E4OD transmissions along with the Baumannator TCS, our current top selling electronic product. Our new website www.becontrols.com is now open. Our address has not changed, but our new phone number for sales and tech is 864-335-9365.
4/24/2003 - Baumann Engineering proudly announces the first E4OD Sonnax transmission valve to be added to our product line. This valve increases shift firmness by using a larger .427" diameter valve increasing accumulator pressure resulting in a firmer shift. Info on this valve will be posted on our website soon.
